 NATIONAL UNITY DAY CELEBRATION 31ST OCTOBER 2022

राष्ट्रीय एकता दिवस ( हिंदी : राष्ट्रीय एकता दिवस, रोमनकृत : राष्ट्रीय एकता  दिवस , आईएसओ : राष्ट्रीय एकता दिवस ) भारत में 31 अक्टूबर को मनाया जाता है। इसे 2014 में भारत सरकार द्वारा पेश किया गया था । यह दिन सरदार वल्लभभाई पटेल की जयंती को चिह्नित करने के लिए मनाया जाता है, जिनकी भारत के राजनीतिक एकीकरण में प्रमुख भूमिका थी । ^[1] [2]

भारत के गृह मंत्रालय द्वारा राष्ट्रीय एकता दिवस के आधिकारिक बयान में कहा गया है कि राष्ट्रीय एकता दिवस "एकता, अखंडता, और हमारे देश की सुरक्षा।" ^[3]

उस दिन, सरकारी कार्यालयों में एक प्रतिज्ञा पढ़ी जाती है: ^[1]

मैं सत्यनिष्ठा से प्रतिज्ञा करता हूं कि मैं राष्ट्र की एकता, अखंडता और सुरक्षा को बनाए रखने के लिए खुद को समर्पित करता हूं और इस संदेश को अपने देशवासियों के बीच फैलाने का भी प्रयास करता हूं। मैं यह शपथ अपने देश के एकीकरण की भावना से लेता हूं जो सरदार वल्लभ भाई पटेल की दूरदर्शिता और कार्यों से संभव हुआ है। मैं अपने देश की आंतरिक सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित करने के लिए अपना योगदान देने का भी सत्यनिष्ठा से संकल्प लेता हू।

Gandhi Jayanti is celebrated yearly on 2 October.^[2] It is a national holiday, observed in all of its states and territories. Gandhi Jayanti is marked by prayer services and tributes all over India, including at Gandhi's memorial, Raj Ghat, in New Delhi where he was cremated. Popular activities include prayer meetings, commemorative ceremonies in different cities by colleges, local government institutions and socio-political institutions. Gandhi Jayanti Speech, Painting, Essay and Mahatma Gandhi quiz competitions are conducted. On this day awards are granted for projects in schools and the community encouraging a nonviolent way of life as well as celebrating Gandhi's effort in the Indian independence movement.^[3] Gandhi's favourite Bhajan (Hindu devotional song), Raghupati Raghav Raja Ram, is usually sung in his memory.^[4] Statues of Mahatma Gandhi throughout the country are decorated with flowers and garlands, and some people avoid drinking alcohol or eating meat on the day.^[5] Public buildings, banks and post offices are closed.^[5] On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti 2014, Prime Minister Narendra Modi started the Swachh Bharat Mission. Its second phase started on Gandhi Jayanti 2021.^[6] On 2nd October 2022, world celebrated 153rd birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.

Gandhi Jayanti is an event celebrated in India to mark the birthday of Mahatma Gandhi. It is celebrated annually on 2 October, and is one of the three national holidays of India. The UN General Assembly announced on 15 June 2007 that it adopted a resolution which declared that 2 October will be celebrated as the International Day of Non-Violence as he was a non-violent freedom fighter. He is also known as the "Father of The Nation" and this title was given to him by Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose for his relentless struggles for independence.^[1]

हिन्दी पखवाड़ा सितंबर 2022

 हिन्दी पखवाड़ा सितंबर (01/09/2022 - 15/09/2022)

भारत सरकार के सभी कार्यालयों, उपक्रमों, उद्यमों, संस्थाओं में हिंदी पखवाड़ा हर वर्ष 14 सितंबर से 28 सितंबर अथवा 1 सितंबर से 14 सितंबर तक मनाया जाता है। 14 सितंबर को हिंदी दिवस के रूप में मनाया जाता है। भारत सरकार के केंद्रीय गृह मन्त्री जी का संदेश 14 सितंबर को प्रकाशित किया जाता है। केद्रीय हिंदी समिति के अध्यक्ष के नाते भारत के प्रधान मंत्री जी तथा महामहिम राष्ट्रपति जी का संदेश भी जारी किया जाता है। राजभाषा हिंदी के प्रति जागरुकता पैदा करने के लिए हिंदी पखवाडे के दौरान अनेक हिंदी कार्यक्रम, प्रतियोगिताएँ, कवि सम्मेलन, संगोष्ठी, भारतीय स्तर पर हर विभाग द्वारा राजभाषा सम्मेलन भी आयोजित करने का प्रावधान है। हिंदी दिवस के उपलक्ष्य में हिंदी में अधिक कार्य करनेवाले अधिकारियों एवं कर्मचारियों को सम्मानित किया जाता है। यह देखा जाता है कि हिंदी पखवाड़े के दौरान कार्यालयों में हिंदी पत्राचार में कितना प्रतिशत कार्य बढ गया है। मा, संसदीय राजभाषा निरीक्षण समिति कार्यालय का निरीक्षण करते समय इस बात पर उचित ध्यान देती है। हिंदी पखवाडे का आयोजन कार्यालय की सुविधानुसार हिंदी दिवस के पहले या बाद में किया जाता है।

• हिन्दी दिवस प्रत्येक वर्ष 14 सितम्बर को मनाया जाता है। 14 सितम्बर 1949 को भारत की संविधान सभा ने एक मत से यह निर्णय लिया कि हिन्दी ही भारत की राष्ट्रभाषा होगी। इसी महत्वपूर्ण निर्णय के महत्त्व को प्रतिपादित करने तथा हिन्दी को हर क्षेत्र में प्रसारित करने के लिये राष्ट्रभाषा प्रचार समिति, वर्धा के अनुरोध पर वर्ष 1953 से पूरे भारत में 14 सितम्बर को प्रतिवर्ष हिन्दी-दिवस के रूप में मनाया जाता है। वर्ष 1918 में गांधी जी ने हिन्दी साहित्य सम्मेलन में हिन्दी भाषा को राष्ट्रभाषा बनाने को कहा था। इसे गांधी जी ने जनमानस की भाषा भी कहा था।

वर्ष 1949 में स्वतंत्र भारत की राष्ट्रभाषा के प्रश्न पर 14 सितम्बर 1949 को काफी विचार-विमर्श के बाद यह निर्णय लिया गया जो भारतीय संविधान के भाग 17 के अध्याय की धारा 343(1) में इस प्रकार वर्णित है। संघ की राष्ट्रभाषा हिन्दी और लिपि देवनागरी होगी। संघ के राजकीय प्रयोजनों के लिए प्रयोग होने वाले अंकों का रूप अंतर्राष्ट्रीय रूप होगा। यह निर्णय 14 सितम्बर को लिया गया, इस कारण हिन्दी दिवस के लिए इस दिन को श्रेष्ठ माना गया था। हालांकि जब राष्ट्रभाषा के रूप में इसे चुना गया और लागू किया गया तो गैर-हिन्दी भाषी राज्य के लोग इसका विरोध करने लगे और अंग्रेज़ी को भी राजभाषा का दर्जा देना पड़ा। इस कारण हिन्दी में भी अंग्रेज़ी भाषा का प्रभाव पड़ने लगा।

Teacher's Day Celebration

 Teacher's Day Celebration 5th September 2022

Teachers are the backbone of an educated society. In Indian culture, teachers are positioned next to God. It’s the teachers who shape the future of a country.On 5th September every year Teachers’ Day is celebrated to show gratitude for the efforts and service of teachers. It is the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. He was India’s first Vice President and the Second President of India.

It was in 1962 that some prominent students of Dr. Radhakrishnan gathered together to pay respect to him. At the gathering, Dr. Radhakrishnan expressed his reservation about the celebration. He asked them to observe his birth anniversary as Teachers’ Day, rather than a birthday. He was born in a middle-class family in the pilgrim town of Tiruttani. His father wanted him to become a priest but his dedication to learning was such that he was sent to school at Tirupati and then Vellore. He earned various scholarships throughout his academic career. It was at the age of 20 that his first thesis was published.

The celebration which started on 5th September 1962, has remained a national event of joy for students and educators alike. The process of learning is a way to enlightenment. This day is apt to show due respect to anyone who has left an imprint which is worthy of recognition. Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru who was one of the close friends of Dr. Radhakrishnan once mentioned that “He has served his country in many capacities. But above all, he is a great teacher from whom all of us have learnt much and will continue to learn. It is India’s peculiar privilege to have a great philosopher, a great educationist and a great humanist as her President. That in itself shows the kind of men we honour and respect.”

Dr. Radhakrishnan has been considered a great philosopher and one of the most influential thinkers of the 20th century. He was appointed as a Professor of Philosophy at the University of Mysore in 1918. He wrote several articles for prestigious journals. Some of his notable works include Reign of Religion in Contemporary Philosophy, Philosophy of Rabindranath Tagore, The Hindu View of Life, Kalki or the Future of Civilisation, An Idealist View of Life, The Religion We Need, India and China, and Gautama the Buddha. His writings and teachings have inspired generations to not give up and keep going with their efforts.
